There is a Notes app on all iPhones that has come in handy for me so many times. I use to be an avid pen and paper type of girl, but then I realized having these notes at hand all of the time made it so much easier for me to jot things down right as a I thought of them and never lose them! I use Notes to keep track of ideas that come to me randomly that I don't want to forget. My favorite way to use Notes is to copy and past hashtags in them. This way whenever I post on Instagram I can just go over to Note and copy and past my hashtags without having to rewrite them every time I post. If you use Notes as well I would love to know how you are using the app in the comments.
Canva is my go to app for all visual content creation. In this app you can set your brand colors and fonts and access them easily whenever you are creating a graphic. You can also save your logo to Canva to post on all of your images. Furthermore, Canva offers a huge selection of graphic templates that you can change to match your brand. Every graphic you see on my website and on my IG was created using Canva. It is user friendly and free with some items you can pay $1.00 for to use as an upgrade.
Colorstory is an app I recently discovered that has been a lifesaver for my Instagram and Blog images as well as super fun to use. It's a photo editing app that has a wide range of filters you can use for all of your photos. You can use the free filters or purchase them. Here is a little secret ... using the same filter every time gets you a very consistent look in your images. I love to use the Lite Bright filter. It is my absolute favorite . Colorstory has a free set of filters or you can pay a small fee to access other filter ,libraries.
I discovered Mile IQ about three years ago. This app is great if you travel for your business. This is a milage tracking app that runs all of the time on your phone, so anytime you go anywhere it tracks your miles for you. You can then go into the app later and select whether those trips for personal reasons or for business. At the end of the year you can print off a report to send to your accountant to make sure you get those mileage deductions! It is the easiest thing I have ever used for tracking mileage. It is a small $5.99 a month fee to use the app, but so worth it! Plus if you use the links provided here you will get 20% off of the annual fee.
I love the Google Sheets and Docs apps because I can basically run my entire business from these two apps, PLUS everything that goes into them on my phone is transferred to them on my computer and vice versa. So I track customers, schedule blog posts, have my assistant's to do list, have request forms and tons of other things on these apps and they are accessible from anywhere. This makes it a lot easier for me to just pack up and go and not have to worry about forgetting anything while I am working on the run.
I hope this helps you find some apps that can make your workflow simpler! There are so many out there these days, and I have used a lot, but I find these to be my tried and true that I alway go back to . I would love to hear about what apps you are using in the comments!
